Her photography is a visual exploration of connection, spontaneity, and the stories that unfold in the spaces between. With a natural instinct for finding unexpected moments, Katherine’s work reflects a deep appreciation for life’s raw, unfiltered experiences. She is drawn to unpredictable, unplanned scenes that reveal the authenticity and vulnerability of human existence.
She has photographed FKA Twigs for her video "Holy Terrain" and had her work first published in LaLa magazine where she was commissioned to photograph the actress, Isabelle Furhman.
Exhibits include London with Cluster Photography in 2020 , the Ruth Borchard Collection online exhibit: Self-Portrait 2021 and In September 2023, Katherine had a solo exhibit for a 6 week run at UMICO gallery in Atwater Village. In 2024 she debuted her VW collection in Venice, CA. At the Beverly Hills Art Shows in October, 2024, Katherine won 1st place in photography,

When she is not taking pictures Katherine is writing, directing, donating time to philanthropic endeavors and proudly raising her two daughters, Willa and Luna. Flynn is the co-founder of Young Hearts, a philanthropic extension of the Open Hearts Foundation, working to create accessible volunteer opportunities for younger generations.
Most recently, Flynn completed her passion project, "Townes" which received multiple festival awards, and was invited to co-direct , "Everything I Ever Wanted to Tell My Daughter about Men", a film premiering at the Austin Film Festival 2021 in support of RISE, an organization that protects survivors of sexual assault. Flynn also wrote the comedy, "Over-sharing," directed by Terri Timely and Produced by Park Pictures which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2018.
